The Learning Centre for Skilled Trades prepares students for certified careers in the barbering industry. Our programs combine rigorous technical training with a clear understanding of the certification requirements recognized across Canada, ensuring graduates are equipped to enter the trade with confidence and credibility.

Barbering is recognized in many provinces as a trade requiring formal certification, with standards upheld through provincial regulatory bodies and the interprovincial Red Seal program. In Ontario, this is governed under the Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021. Certification is not optional; it is the standard by which legitimate, professional practice is defined. At The Learning Centre for Skilled Trades, students are trained by experienced faculty who understand this standard firsthand, and our curriculum is designed to align directly with it.
